Our first release wine the 1979 McLaren Vale Shiraz Cabernet was a forerunner of the famous James Haselgrove Wines stable. This 2004 Shiraz from Currency Creek in the Southern Fleurieu replicates this wine.
A typical robust Shiraz with 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, this classic blend from Currency Creek is deep red with purple hues, typical Shiraz pepper & spice with subtle American oak.

The grapes used in this distinctive varietal are from the Southern Fleurieu area of Currency Creek. It is a fresh, crisp and flavoursome dry white exhibiting the rich fruit characters expected from this classic white variety.
